so today we went to a bookstore and this is my new favorite thing. because he's read everything. and i want to read everything. before him i just read books because i'd heard good things about them or they sounded cool to me. but he's got this method, which i was completely anti, until today. he checks out the last page. and if it's good or intriguing or eloquent, he buys the book. otherwise, it's not worth his time.
his favorite book is soul mountain by a chinese author. i bought it. i mean, the last page is pretty damn good.
