e-mails are inspiring me to new heights of happiness. reassurance that the decision i made last april affected all our summers in equally amazing ways comes when i least expect it. and when things are craziest, i get word that next semester i'll study a people and a language so far away from you. i feel selfish being so excited, but i just can't help it: i've spent years waiting for this.
